Console Lid with Porsche Crest Install question

http://www.suncoastparts.com/product/AMoLOGO.html

I want to buy the above console lid for my 997 C2S. does anyone know if it is easy to swap this for my plain factory lid? I cant find any instructions to just remove the lid.

Thanks!

It is very easy. There are 6 or 8 screws that hold it in place. That is it.

Nice looking...I assume they're guaranteed to match the original interior color of the car. Would make a nice addition to my Stone Grey interior...especially since I don't have the crest in the seat headrests.

+1. I recently had to pull this out to replace the center console and it was easy. Look for instructions on how to replace a center console and you'll see the steps for replacing the lid.

Good luck!

I replaced my center console as well with a painted one. No need to remove the whole lid like you do when replacing the console. You only need to unscrew the lid cover piece and install the new one (with the crest), by screwing it back on. Couldn't be easier.

I like this and have often thought about getting it. This may be a good product to use my PCA coupon on.

I've got that part in Carrera Red in my car. It was spec'd that way so I don't know how hard it is to install but since my elbow touches it almost every time I drive... I really like it.
