what is this liquid?
I come home from a nice drive. Slightly spirited but nothing too crazy.
I have a steep driveway and was going to be going out again so I backed down.
I come out and there is this wet spot coming from just in front of the driver's exhaust tips. It's slightly sticky.
I can't see anywhere where it came from but it's not oil.

I just had the water pump changed about three weeks ago. I checked there but the drip is actually located about eight inches to the drive's side from there. I looked up under but didn't see anything. I all looks fine up top as well and the level is fine.
OK, It appears as though it came from the overflow tube attached to the filler.
I guess my driveway is steep enough to push the coolant up into that little rubber tube. Hopefully that's all she wrote. I'll keep an eye on it.

I did check the cap and tank and both look fine. I'm convinced it's the overflow tube coming from the filler tank. It lines up right where the drip was and it released a certain amount and then stopped. If it was a pump or hose or the tank it would have kept dripping I would think. The filler tank was topped off and the steep angle I was parked at just sent that extra bit out of the tube. I'll keep an eye open but that's my conclusion.
