New to Porsche and Forum Need Info

I am pleased to be getting my new 09 911 Carrera c2 tomorrow. I am a long time Vette owner my last a 575 rwhp Z06 Dont hold that against me as I am here now.
I want to do some slight modest performance mods need a little direction Would I start with the Computer and exhaust? Or Intake? Can some one also give me the proper Wheel and Tire sizes the biggest that can fit nicely inside the wheel well in a 19" I need the proper offsets and width. Thanks for any assistance. I am looking forward to learning alot about these great cars.

Welcome!! From one former Vette owner (C5 & C6) to another, you'll throughly enjoy discovering the driving pleasures a 911 can generate. My S is surprisingly similar in performance to my (now gone) somewhat modded C6; yet its the polar opposite in just about every tactile sense.

Welcome!

Being a new owner myself I can't really offer anything to answer your questions that I'm sure others here can. And, easily. Lots of info around here. May I be the first to request the requisite photos of the new car? Post 'em up! Love to see another C2 on the forum.

Congratulations on the car. Enjoy it!

Welcome aboard.. I too am a former Corvette owner, and I must say that as nice as the new Corvettes are, and they are nice, they don't compare to a 997 Carerra.

I've learned quite a bit about the car from hangin' out in here, I'm sure you'll do the same.
