PCM Issues...

I just wanted to see if anyone has had this issue recently and if there is something I can do about it...

I normally NEVER use my CD player unit on my PCM. However, this morning I decided to pop in an old CD for my ride to work. The display kind of "shuttered" a bit, but the CD played. However, sometimes when I change the track, the screen (display) kind of blips and shakes. Then when I switch functionality over to the radio, it's all static and none of the radio stations come out clearly. I took out the CD of the unit, and then all radio stations came out clearly again. I put the CD back in and turned the radio on, all static.

I have no idea what could be causing this, what the problem is, or any potenial resolution. Has anyone experienced this and if so, what was the remedy for the problem?

Thanks

I haven't played a CD in my car, so I can't say that I have seen it. Has this happened with different discs? It may have some static electricity on the CD causing this problem. It also sounds like you could have a grounding issue. Is your car still under warranty?

maybe try a new disc? i just tried one on mine, with a disc i made about 6 months ago, and was pleasantly surprised with the fact it picked up the details of the song and artist!
