I've been saying for months that the prices have firmed up significantly, and most who are buying now agree. The ones disagreeing are basing opinions on old info (4+ months old, to one year plus old), or goofy one-off deals (like buying from a Ford dealer who is not hip to the current market).

Those numbers are pretty close. For example, local dealer got an 05' Launch car earlier this year in trade. They paid $41K, sold it for $49K. It had approx 17k miles. Earlier this month I was offered an 08 C4S with 36K miles for $54.5K. I'm sure that some of the people on here with access to the Manheim auctions can back up the numbers.

Anyone check out the values listed by excellence this month. Personally I think it way off. It puts an 05 c2s at 32600-43700 and an 07 c2s at 39200-52500. I think the max prices are more like the min prices I have seen out there. I'm not sure excellence is helping us out on this one.
Any thoughts?

father in law is in car biz....also knowing what some local C2S' sold for.
It's all just numbers...guys think they get a great trade number but take it in the shorts on the new car they buy.....funny stuff.
