I should by all means like the 997 as much as I like the 993, but I just don't. There's that little something that I just can't put my finger on. Don't know what it is, but something isn't quite right.
that little something is call character, which is what the 997 lacks. it's too bland with the smooth hood and big dopey eyes.

it could never restore the old look. they should just go foward with the CGT style lights somehow.

Collin - I actually hated Porsche until the 993 because of the very froggy eyes.....
They're a thing if the past.....(very unaerodynamic too!)

Great attempt at guessing what Porsche is coming out with. Maybe you could combine some elements of the new Boxster's front intakes along with the turn signals. You could also change the headlights a little bit and make them more CGT/Boxster shaped.

Okay... this has got to be the one. Carrera GT headlights... not exactly the single lamps one is used to but hey, things change. GT2 front end, slightly modified. Porsche is notorious for using up inventory so that was the piece. Plus the TechArt nose was too droopy... this I feel is more agressive. Side intakes a bit larger... I like. GT2 tail... nice and classy. AVUS 5-spokes... my favorite! Keeps with the porsche heritage of the old cars but very agressive. I would buy one!
