I recently put a the tubi mufflers on my 2007 Carrera S Cab. While I like the sound that it makes I feel that a little more volume might be needed under wot, however I would not want it to be louder at highway cruising speeds. Would it make sense to add the Tubi headers, would this change the sound + performance in any way? Has anyone done it in two stages like this, first the muffler then the headers if so could you comments on your thoughts please?

 

I did my exhaust in 2 stages, but I did tubi mufflers first and then sport cats.

The cats made a huge difference. It is louder at WOT, but not at cruising speed.

I too loved the tubi sound with just the mufflers, but wanted more of it. The cats gave me that.

Thanks guys for the replies. Do the sports cats cause a check engine light or a failure to pass emissions? Do they give any more hp or just the noise?

 

Gator I see you have both sport cats and the x51 headers can you tell me about the x51 headers please?
