GT3/Aerokit wing intake mesh?

Have a Misha replica gt3 wing. When the wing was installed the installer used a wire mesh to cover the intake vents on the top of the decklid. Over time the mesh is coming loose. Always felt that the mesh looked cheap.

I had ordered original mesh covers for the gt3 from suncaost but they screw in through tabs. Aftermarket wings don't have the predrilled holes for this so probably wont be able to use them unless i drill them in risking cracking the decklid.

Anyone here have success installing the original mesh covers? Any pictures of what everyone did for theirs? Advice needed.

thanks

We recommend scuffing up the inside of the spoiler and then using a hot glue gun to adhere it to the back of the spoiler.

From what we have heard, even when you buy a OEM GT3 spoiler, there is no way to bolt on the grills because there is not enough room to get a tool in there. You need to glue it in that case too.

Can someone confirm this?

do you mean gluing in the orignal mesh part or just gluing in a mesh screen like the ones you buy from a hardware store?

We have done both variations. Regular automotive front bumper grill mesh, and GT3 grill inserts that you can purchase from Porsche.
