So I brought my car over to GMG Racing in Santa Ana today to get the car hooked up to the PIWIS to activate the LED's. In order to get the LED's functioning properly the rear control module had to be activated for 'LED'. The prior setting was on 'Incandescent Bulb'. But that's only part of the story. After John and I tried that, the blinkers on the instrument panel were still blinking rapidly even though everything else seemed fine. The second part of the programming requires you to activate the front control module for 'LED' as well, even though no other modifications were made to the front lights or the front control module. So the front, and the new rear control module BOTH need to be programmed for LED. I gotta thank Nello at Maxspeed for giving me the heads up on this important step. http://911car.blogspot.com/2010/07/9...onversion.html

Yep that's the next step but i'm still waiting for a flawless procedure to make the front LED's work. There are just way too many unknowns right now for me to do it.

Have you seen the one from FVD? It's almost impossible to find on their site, but it looks like an affordable turn-key kit...

Aaron, car looks great!!! Is it a widebody or narrowed 997.1? I'm thinking of picking up a 997 C4S and doing the same.
