Porsche Car Seat Question

I had a Porsche Baby Car Seat for my 996 C4S Cab, and it had that "bar" installed under the passenger seat that enabled you to take a seatbelt-like clasp from the car seat and connect it to the "bar" in order to deactivate the Right Side airbag.

I understand that the airbag deactivation system for the 997 is different, but does anyone know if you can take the 996-designed baby seat, and connect it to the 997-designed airbag deactivation "bar" so it will work?

Porsche has gotten out of the baby-seat business for the dealers in Canada, so they can't help me.

Thanks!

Jmac

should work fine. the bar the install is the "LATCH" system, which has had standard mounting points since about 2002 for car seats in north america
