Jay: i've been looking for ur car's pics and couldnt find any, i beleive you have a fantastic 911 worth seeing!!
I'm overdue to take some updated photos to share with you guys. In the meantime, you can check out some action shots from our big Super Car Sunday caravan last weekend. You can see some nice rolling shots of my car at the 5 minute mark of Part 2. (Red emblem/Carbon Fiber wing with Red endplates.)

Enjoy!

Was the X51 Airbox a direct replacement? Any mods needed to run this setup?

Yes, i'm still using the stock speakers and they sound more than capable with the amplifier powering them up now.

The Pioneer install looks nice and clean, it sounds like you are thrilled with the upgrade!

Well done!

Thanks Jay! Your car looks great nowadays, please post up a new thread with some updated pics of it.

I hope you got the X51 intake for a good price because their price have gone up so much on Suncoast.
Yea I got a great deal from Dave here on 6speed. I didn't realize it was such a commodity since it's over $3,000.00 on Suncoast now.

But shoot, I just bought an '87 911, which while 98% perfect, is taking about $5k to make it truly a concourse-worthy entry, so I ought to sit tight.

Yours is gorgeous!
Hmmm...

Glad I gave you some ideas Cattman, it's only fair that I spread the modding disease to those who started it

Great job again.
haha If I ever decided to part ways with my car you will be the first to know since this is the second time you've asked haha

It might just be that time to leave it alone.....but you know how that goes.

Yep, I saw it out in the back with the interior stripped out

The X51 is not a direct replacement. You must replace the oil fill tube with a shorter one which required taking the alternator out to access the screws holding down the original fill tube. You also need to cut out a second intake duct on the rear decklid.
