Engine Falter?
Engine Falter?
I'm new to Porsche's as I recently purchased a an '05 C2S with 56K miles. I sold my '09 M3 coupe in January after struggling with my feelings about its lack of low end torque and lack of that "raw" feeling. My previous weekend cars were a '31 Model A Ford coupe with a blown 392 hemi, and before that a '67 GTO.
So far I am really loving the Porsche, although my wife says lets see how I feel in 9 months.
Yesterday, while accelerating in second gear, the gas pedal went dead. The engine didn't stall, but the rpm's started to fall, and the car slowed. I pushed the clutch in, re-engaged, and everything was fine. This morning I had the same thing happen. I am going to make an appointment to have the car taken in for service, but in the meantime, any thoughts on this issue would be appreciated.
