997.2 Lowering Question

When I get my 19" Wheel Dynamic Rims/Rubber... I want to lower my 997.2 a little...

Can this be done with the stock OEM springs? Is there an adjustment screw you just have to turn?

On my Z06, all you had to do was reach up underneath with a socket wrench and turn one screw the same amount of rotations for each wheel and you were done.

I didn't know if Porsche was the same or if you have to buy special lowering springs... the other thread here a member is using special lowering springs, but I don't know if that was for performance or just to lower the car.

Can a Porsche be lowered using the stock springs easily?

No, you need to install either eibach or h&r springs for PASM or replace stock pasm with aftermarket coilovers.

springs are obviosly cheaper, go with eibach.

Mark,

The single best modification I made to my car was installing PSS10's (Coilovers by Bilstein). Every other engine mod didn't make my car any faster at all (if anything it may have made it the same or slower, yikes!) but installing the coilovers made my car sing through curves and the suspension mod was well worth the money spent, I can't say the same for the other mod's I have done. Even if your lowering the car a little I think it makes every curve twice as fun....

Hope that helps.
