Question How to Install Rennline Shift ****?

I bought a Rennline Shift ****.

Tonight, I try the installation, and was able to get the shift **** & boot to be removed from the silver trim. However, I no have a clue if it's possible to remove the **** from the boot??

The intruction seems to suggest cutting it off from the **** is required for integratred boot/****, but then is my 997 ****/boot consider integrated??

If I am NOT mistaken and memory serves me correctly, there is a plastic piece that pinches the boot with the shift **** to hold it secure and that same plastic piece threads onto the shift ****.When I say threads I mean it is a 1/4 or 1/2 turn to get the two separated!
Fold the boot inside out and you should see it!

Hope that helps,

Stacy
