They are the Sottozero 240 TypeII 18" OEM sized to the Carrera Classic wheels. I will provide updates as I experience various road conditions. So far so good but it's been 45-50 degrees and dry roads.

I use those same tires, they're great. Had them on my 06 911S (long gone), they were perfect. Just picked up a 2008 C4 a couple of weeks ago but we haven't had any wet/snow driving yet. Sounds like the same setup though, I have them on 18" Carrera Classic wheels too, they have about 80% tread on them.

Three days in with the new tires and I must say they are great! Haven't hit snow or ice just yet but the rainy streets of yesterday showed how the rubber does maintain great traction. Early read is very positive - will continue to provide updates as the weather unfortunately changes...

Thinking about going with the Conti 19" All Seasons for the winter. Then I can order the V-308s with the PS2s I have been lusting after for the Spring.

Hi,

OK, another quandry.

Do I go with the Conti Extreme Contact DWS or the Bridgestone Potenza Re 960AS? Which will handle better? Regardless of the tire I am going with 235/35R19 (f) and 295/30ZR19 (r).

Thanks in advance for the input!

After reading the tests on line it seems that the Conti is the way to go. Any thoughts?
