17mm Porsche spacer in the front?

Is it ok to use 99636161700 numbered 17mm spacers up in the front (after installing cup fenders)? How does it effect balance/rotation/handling? I think Champion has done this earlier for RS fender flares. What do you think?

It might be worth a try IMO, if it doesn't work you could put them on the rear or sell them, as 17mm are a common size. I am sure the RSS and H&R spacers are less $ then the Porsche ones, you may want to try them.

nothing wrong with running with spacers occasionally but for your primary rims set and for track rims I would get wider rims with proper offset so no spacers would be needed.

i run my winter narrow stock rims with 15mm spacer in front and 7mm spacer in rear.

HRE P40s I currently use are for wide body already and my car is a NB. I think with a spacer I can clear my fenders with no problems. Porscheshop told me its gonna take 7-10 for delivery so I guess I will have to wait and see. Thanks guys!

If the new wheels have widebody offsets not sure how 17mm further extension is going to look - you'll have to decide. IIRC, the Porsche 17mm spacers attach to the hub using the standard wheel bolts and then you attach the wheel to the spacer using lug nuts - not the most attractive solution in my opinion.

I also have a set of Racemax 16mm spacers with longer bolts, I asked because I wanted to use OEM spacers but I think I will have to wait until the cup fenders come along and see what to use.
