Didn't your momma tell you to think before your speak. Everybody likes an opinion when its said without putting others taste in the can.
I love this thread and its history.I bought the car in my avatar 2 years ago online with a PPI. I didn't know slate was rare and expensive. I recently parked next to another 2006 slate cab and he told me I was the first slate 997 he had seen in 11 years of ownership. I love the color.
Going for the record for reviving dead threads or color debates.

I present my 2003 Slate Gray C2 Cabriolet with a Seal Gray hardtop:
Same car, both colors in same lighting, big difference in color.
Might be picking up a meteor gray Cayenne diesel this week. if so I will put the hard top back on the 911 so that we can have a direct slate 911, seal hardtop next to a meteor Cayenne. Just need an atlas anything and we could have the 4 shades of 50 shades gray battle royal. Also on the fence as I have a buyer for the 03 slate C2 which I could replace with a 04 Seal C4s, an black 2005 turbo s Cab or a 2014 C4 cab in silver. # FIRST WORLD PROBLEMS
