No worries on the question (frank/blunt for sure) but I cant be offended as I have asked the 6Speed family for advice on the 996/997 debate as well as pricing guardrails of each of the platforms; I weighed all the advice and did a ton of pricing research before deciding on my particular car. However, you are completely correct, everyone should feel great about the price they paid for their PCar, they get in your soul way before they get in your head.

I paid $76.5K for mine, 2008 Targa 4S, CPO - Boardwalk Porsche, 6year 100K Warranty, 20'' Modulare M-14 3 Piece Forged Wheels, IPOD/UBS, Bluetooth (Porsche Installed), Full Leather Guards Red/Black, Hard Wired for Radar Dectector.

I was so comfortable with the price that I didnt even consider it a factor. After driving it for most of the day yesterday, the retail price will never cross my mind again...she has my soul! DMac225

 

I am further North, RGP, by Wakeland HS. I'm looking forward to seeing all the PCar owners in the area. Boardwalk has a rally this Spring and I plan on being there to meet some of the guys.
