Why does my car have 2 paint codes, for what appears to be the same paint?

Hello gang!
I recently discovered that my car (based on info I received from my VIN number search, and from Porsche itself) has 2 paint codes for Slate Gray Metallic....they are L23F and 59V9....which one is the correct code? Are they both the same? Is one more "metallic" than the other?
If anyone knows, please feel free to PM me, or post, or point me in the right direction!

Thanks!!!

Look at the inside of the gas cap cover - the correct color code is printed there.

My paint code is on the driver's side door jamb at the very bottom of the sticker.

Fin fever is infamous around these parts
I think the second code may be for the painted wheels.

I checked the gas cap flap/cover tonight & found the L23F code. My car is a 2006 Slate Grey. I could not find any paint codes on the driver's door jam sticker or on the door. When Suncoast ran the vin # they came up with "59V5 Exterior Paint Color Slate Grey Metallic"
