I just got my dream car a macadamia Targa 4S, I will post some pics soon.
I was thinking about getting a fab speed intake. Has anyone tried it yet? What did you think? can you feel the difference?

The intake (airbox) is only part of the equation. Your intake plenum is another area that can be improved upon. I do not work for any of the companies we're discussing here, btw.

I used to be a proponent of the K&N type of filter media and used them myself, but one nagging question lurked in my mind when using these regarding the effectiveness of small particulate filtration... so I went back to disposable paper elements.
Just a few years ago, there was an independent lab that did some testing of filter media available at the time, and different brands of media. It can be found online, though I forget who did this testing. Paper, oil bath, and cotton/gauze (oil-charged) media were all tested.
Interestingly enough, while the K&N ranked highest in airflow, it ranked virtually the worst in filtration. Of course, this means much more wear, and & premature failure. Another interesting point in these tests was, of all the media tested, the filter that had the best balance of filtration and airflow was...(???) The humble Delco paper filter. (!!) It performed admirably well on both points. That was really an eye-opener for many.
What I like about the ITG filters that the Werks1 airbox uses, is they use different layers of foam/oiled media in the filter to circumvent the shortcomings of the singular gauze element that allows smaller abrasive particulate stuff to get through.
If you're sold on the Fabspeed Intake, see if ITG makes a conical element that fits it, as the BMG media Fabspeed uses appears to be like the K&N (cotton gauze). I'm not saying BMG media is terrible, but why not do BETTER if you can? Not only is the Fabspeed most likely a great product, but considerably more inexpensive than the Werks1 airbox; the Fabspeed certainly has an overt "aftermarket performance" look to it. I personally prefer the Werks1 solution- due first of all to the ITG filters, but also the more streamlined OEM-yet-carbon-fiber look on the outside, while giving much superior airflow internally than oem... but I digress. In all this, I'd much rather use paper disposable media than ANY oiled cotton gauze filter, to protect the Porsche's engine... unless I had nothing but $$ to burn. The TriFoam oiled element technology from ITG appears to be the best of both worlds of the paper & cotton solutions. Great airflow, AND proper filtration. From my prior experience in the auto industry (decades) I've had experience with oiled foam media (though not the ITG, which is superior to those I've used), and it works great.
In either case regarding the Fabspeed or Werks1 intake, if you couple either one of these airboxes with the aforementioned IPD intake plenum, I believe you're going to like the results, imho. In fact, I'd do the IPD plenum first, then augment that with an intake of your choice.

It was my latest mod and the one I felt the most. However, I already had the full tubi exhaust and softronic ecu tune. So I cant say how much of a difference I would feel without these other mods.
I am also considering getting this new IPD plenum that I am hearing about. But people are telling me I would have to also get the throttle body and headers to really feel the new plenum. But then there are others posting threads that they felt a huge difference getting the plenum without the TB and headers.
I have some more research to do.

Congrats on the Targa. FWIW, I would avoid spending a lot of money on intake and exhaust improvements. They make little or no difference to performance. Spend some time learning to drive the car in Autocrosses etc, as it likely has more power than you need already.
