Sad Day

Had to put the car away for the winter today

Not worried about driving the p-car in the winter, more worried about poor drivers here in Boston during the winter hitting me...

And before I get the "drive the car" responses, I wanted to point out I have done nearly 48K miles in my 997 C2S since I bought it new in 2007 so it is definitely not a garage queen. I have also taken it to DE days at NHMS, Lime Rock and Watkins Glen because I LOVE to drive it.

I cant wait until the spring when I can bring it out of slumber and hear those exhausts bellow again.

Going to get an extended warranty next year before the warranty runs out and looking to start the mods madness.

Well - it doesn't snow everyday in the winter in Boston . Why not take the car for a drive on those sunny days with the cold temps on dry roads ?

I would not like the idea of not driving it for the entire season!

I agree, I used to store my cars for the winter but it doesn't snow everyday here in Denver and it was pointless. I take it out on nice days and there are plenty in the winter.

this is what I do. it won't ever see snow (choose not to put snow tires on it) but there are PLENTY of beautiful days in the winter with temps in the 30's and even maybe reach 40.

Hell, I even find enough nice days to wash the car. Hot water in the bucket makes it easy. neighbors think i'm nuts though
