On days when I could get high-centered, the alternative is a '11 BMW 335ix, or my wife's 09 X5 diesel.

My 911 is now off the road for the winter and I'm driving my 2000 Camry. You can snicker if you like but after 10 years and 78K on the clock the only thing that has ever gone wrong was the downstream oxygen sensor. This Camry is one of the reasons I'm a Porsche owner today because it allowed me to save for the 911 rather than stealing all of my money with repairs.

You still driving your Porsche, I really hate the rain here in Van.Having no mood to drive it around when raining, plus mine still under mods in Scan, should be done by this week, took 1 month and half to get things done. Will see you around,my friend.

My daily driver is a 2008 Audi A4, since I took the stock brake system off my C2S, I was thinking of changing the wheels on A4 and put the new brakes on it. I don't know if it will fit etc. Also there is an option of lowering it with KW coils and an ECU upgrade. I'm not sure if the rotors and calipers will fit the standard 16 inch wheels on the A4? Has anyone done this before?

When the roads are clear I drive my 911. On other days either '08 Infiniti EX or '11 MB E350 4-matic. In my opinion, there are very few cars that can match the 4-matic in snow.

My 997 is mothballed in the garage, and I'm driving the Toyota Landcruiser for the winter. At least having the Porsche covered up reduces the longing as I walk by.

Yeah the rain has been bad, but it is better then snow IMO.

When you get the car out of Scan, you should drive it, the back end kicks out a little and makes it a fun drive.
