Front lic plate screws are too long?

Hi guys,

After a long debate, I fiinally decided put the front plate on to avoid further police harASSment and fine. Originally, my dealer didn't put the front plate bracket when I took delivery. However, I noticed the 2 screws that came with the bracket for the top plate are really long. Wouldn't that put 4 holes in the front bumper cover?

Questions for guys with front lic plate. Do you have 4 holes or 2 holes? I'd guess I need to get shorter screws?

Thanks!

I don't want to either, but I don't want to get stop by the POLICE and give me a ticket for no front plate.

So what, just take the chance of being put off and get fine? I don't have luck with the bad boys.
