Arrow Prices?

I have been helping TheJudge look for a Carrera S for a while and wanted to see what kinds of discounts people have been getting on the hardtops. The best I got was 10k off a launch code S that had about 1800 miles on it. The best I've heard for a "new" one is about 2k off.

We were at a Cali dealer who made a ridiculous quote of 1600/month (36 month, 10k miles) for a 75k base carrera for another one of our friends. Needless to say we walked right out.

We have looked everywhere and S models are scarce. I have my broker looking for one for him right now.

Any input?

There is a thread on Rennlist.com under watercooled, under 997 which addresses this.

You should just order one built exactly the way you want it. I have been searching for an S for some time now and have spoken to the majority of California dealers.

It goes back to supply and demand, they just wont budge off sticker on the S unless the car is optioned out in which they are making even stronger margin dollars. Even then, the markdown is miniscule.....

Let me know if you find anything....or if a dealer is willing to give you a discount on an ordered S - now that would be cool!!
