I really love the Alpin's -- although just a few miles on them, they fare very well in the snow and ice (and we've had plenty for the entire winter thus far here in pittsburgh!)

BTW -- anyone considering purchasing a 997 (non 4wd) for a DD -- these are great cars in the snow due to the engine in the back.
