I had it on my previous 6 speed 997S and rarely used it except for setting automatic door locks. I don't have it on my current 6 speed 997S and don't miss it at all. The dash wart is plain ugly. If you have PDK, then it is valuable, not so much on a 6 speed.

 

Test drove a 2011 C2S PDK with SC and was blown away. The Sports Plus setting is ridiculous and way more aggressive with acceleration and the rev-matching on downshifts was absolutely sublime. I am a 3 pedal guy all the way but will seriously consider a PDK with SC for my next 911.
