For the past year I've been researching the Aston Martin V8V, and have received much help and many suggestions from their forum on this website. After much deliberation, I want to take another hard look at the 911. I've been enamored with the Aston's good looks, but I believe the 911 is probably a better car. I'm tall, 6'2", and the Aston is a little tight for tall people. By contrast, the 911 seems to accomodate my height just fine with room to spare. I would probably look for something a year or two old, but I'm open to suggestions on what the best years of 911's are. I have had one AM V8V and four 997's. Two each side of the Aston if that tells you anything.I think 2009 on 997.2 is the best model to get. What level of 911 thereafter is up to you. Good luck.

 

the aston is great looking. i think it might be the best looking car on the road. sounds great too. can't go wrong with it.

the 997 is a better sports car.
