Question on the Fabspeed 997 Maxflo Competition Air Intake

Anyone know if this intake system improves fuel efficiency? It would seem logical that it would, but I don't know for sure....

Thanks!!!

No, it will not improve fuel efficiency. If engine do need more air (mean stock system do not allow enough air) then you would gain HP but that mean ECU will command more fuel to mix with increased air to maintain the optimum A/F ratio.

If stock air intake system already provide sufficient air then no HP will be gained. Please do not expect too many HP from after market air intake system especially when the stock systems were designed from leading sport car producers.
