997 arrived today check the flicks
wow. fellas, whats the break-in on this lil' bastard???Manual says keep it under 4200 RPM-- i think its a little late for that!.....any input appreciated...............also, are you guys really using REJEX??........I know bumper plugs is selling it, anybody have comments about using it on my 2-day old 997?.............................................. .Holler at me and let me know if you are feeling this thing. ITS A LOT OF CAR, all i gotta say. Best $105K I ever spent........................

You really don't want to coat the paint with anything for at least a month or so, assuming it was about a month old when you got it.
'Cocaine White' might get a little powdery, you know.

By the time you get the car, the paint is about 2 month old. You can apply wax. Not sure if the dealer applied wax when they prepped it before your pickup. Follow the break in by varying the engine speed. Don't rev it when cold. Your engine will last longer and be smoother.
