Significant Other - stories

My wife drove my car to work once and she must have accidently hit the trunk open button on the key remote when she was driving home. She called me while she was driving on I5, but I didn't get the call so she left a voice mail that she was driving on the freeway and the 'hood open' alarm is on. Upon listening to her message some 20 minutes later, I called her back hastily to tell her to pull over somewhere SAFE and close the front hood (traffic on I5 is around 75 - 80 Mph). She replied, I'm home now, can you check it when you get home?

My wife drove my car once. She drove on the neighborhood streets basically. Not on the interstate, etc. When she came back home she said "anytime I look at the speedometer it says "57"... don't understand how I got that fast".

The other thing was she kept putting in first gear when trying to back up.

My wife drove mine on some twisties a few weeks back for the first time. I kept telling her she needed to go faster because the rpm's were dropping and she couldn't go to a lower gear so she would need to take the twist and hill faster. She was so nervous but she just followed my instruction. Afterwards she said she couldn't believe how fast she could take a corner in the car and that she now feels safer with how I drive. The thing is, she was taking turns so slow compared to how I take them when I'm alone, she has no idea how planted that car can be.

I don't really have any stories other than she managed an American LeMans Series Porsche race team! www.reiser-callas.com

but my girl drives mine all the time. She has gotten pretty confident with the car and she even tries launch control sometimes. Lets face it the car is a real cup cake with the PDK in non sport mode

Just yesterday, My wife said that if I had purchased a PDK as opposed to a 6MT she would drive my car much more often. She said she cant drive with stilettos on and shift the gears. The she said I should look at a Panamera for her so she can enjoy a Porsche in Stilletos anytime she wants.

So you'll make sure the next one is a Manual as well right!

My girlfriend had mine out one night with her friends. They were at a pretty affluent bar/rastaurant here in Orange County. Some Doctor was picking up on her friend in the parking upon leaving and offering her a ride home. He clicked his keys to "show" her his awesome car......a 997 Targa. She said no thanks as my girlfriend clicked the remote to my C2. Gotta love the girls.....drinking in my P car and showing guys up.
