Roll Bar for 09 C4S

Interested in getting roll bar for my car and am teetering between the RSS 996/997 bar from champion VS the GMG world challenge bar.

Does anyone have any experience with either and any other suggestions?

Brey Krause?

Any recommendations for racing harnesses?

thanks.

GMG...

GMG's bar looks just like the OEM clubsport bar except its one piece (no groaning) and you can put your seats back. I had one in my car with no complaints.

RSS's bar is nice but I do not like the design as much.

if you do not need rear seats - install a proper roll bar of course, also be aware of 2011 regulations - roll bar should have metal to metal contact and mounting plates - means in rear it should sit on rear strut bolts and in front it should have metal plates that get drilled to a floor. those are club racing rules and for PCA DE roll bar has to be compliant with club racing safety standards.

So if I install a GMG world challenge bar for instance, are sport adaptive seats compatible with a racing harness (6 point) or do I need to change the seats as well?

thanks

I've seen 6 points where the 2 sub/crotch belts were routed under the driver's legs and to the lap belt anchors. It would certainly reduce the stress on ***** and the boys in an accident. Also, wrapping the thighs in that fashion would appear to better distribute the load on the thighs.
