Imagine if the cops spent this much effort trying to catch drug dealers and illegal aliens!

PS - Little known fact - Illegal aliens kill over 10 Americans a day in traffic accidents. If we make 'em all legal like the Pres suggests this statistic will improve. Amazing how smart the libs are!

Check out Radar Roy for Jammer details: http://www.radarjammer.com/

aircooled0801 will become famous soon enough
Just thought I'd throw this out there...

Has anyone conducted research on the potential side-effects of the "lasers" being aimed at humans, especially when magnified through glass? Coming from an ex-cop, liability charged against a department for negligent acts without research is a major concern. I'm not saying there is anything to it, but I'd find it hard to believe there's not some kind of risk following a recent cell phone tower issue I ran up against where the research proved harmful side-effects.

How many doctors and attorneys do we have in here???

imho if cop shoots you right in the head with laser and sees you doing way over speed limit and his laser jams (and new lasers even have an indicator to show that there were 'jammed'),so, imho, it is just asking for a very bad troubles when cop catches you and sniffs all around your front bumper and finds those forbidden jammers and gets you in court over this.

i would rather pay a ticket if my V1 will fail me badly but usually it senses those 'laser' shots from far enough to make me aware. plus, imho, your own eyes are way better protection than any jammers.

Thank God that is just your opinion and this is a free country. I have a Jammer and it has more than paid for itself. Radar/laser detectors are worthless if you get hit with laser and using your own eyes....you go with that.... I wish you the best of luck....Ha!

Does anyone know whether laser jammers are legal in Maryland? I'm often "well over" the speed limit, so I need all the help I can get.

Its not illegal to have them in most states. You aren't going to get pulled over because they couldn't get a reading. Your V1 probably won't pick up scatter from another vehicle being shot. Especially if you're in the city and they are shooting at much closer ranges. I get shot all the time and it would be impossible to see it coming as they are usually motorcycle cops hiding in parking lots on the side of the road. If your V1 goes off due to laser and you're speeding, you can probably count on that being your cue that you're about to get a ticket

I have a group buy going on the LI units in the GB section. I have a link to the LI website there. On his site there is a list of states and the corresponding legality related to jammers. They're legal in most places.

Not anymore. Redlight cams are still functional in some cities.

If I remember correctly, my Escort 9500 detects the speed cameras. Hopefully, it gives enough warning time - no speed camera tickets so far.

Yup like bonehead said, they pulled all highway cameras down in AZ. Still have redlight running cameras in tempe/phoenix/scottsdale. But the outer cities there is nothing really.

Cause EVERYONE including judges...yes judges in the court system thought that they were bs. They were causing accidents too not only because if you got flashed at night they blind the **** out of you for a good 5 seconds but also during rush hour or i should say a steady flow of traffic, people waited til the last second and slammed their brakes to slow down, but when someone behind them doesn't pay attention to their 15+ MPH drop they *** ram them.
