Need Buying Advice 2007 or 08

Hi Everyone,
I am really in a bind. I have to decide between two cars:

Car 1
2007 997 S with 25000 miles on it - Black/Black (my fav color combo) Has EasyCare aftermarket warranty with $250 Deductible.

or

Car 2
2008 997 S with 32000 miles on it - Midnight Blue/Tan (ok color..not fav) - HAS a full certified porsche warranty CPO on it.

Both are the same price.

I drive about 5K miles a year and I want to sell the car in 2 years.

What would be the best bang for my buck, depreciation wise?

Tough call. I would go with your color choice, but must also ask if the equipment is identical, which i suspect it is not. Need to check the cars for paint work and check the DME scan. These should figure more into the decision than the warranty.

My personal take on the MY differences: the '08 will fair a bit worse in the depreciation. It is newer, but one year before the .2. So even though it has the benefit of a newer model year, the '09 will always be favored over it.

All said, go for the equipment, best PPI, and then your color choice. You've got to look at it every day, after all.

The Porsche CPO makes me much more comfortable than the "Easycare" warranty. Probably an oxymoron.
