Contrary to popular belief we here at EVOMS dable in the N/A world as well! Here is a pristine example of an '09 DFI Carrera that stopped in for a little "injection" of luv. We are adding the Fabspeed Maxflow mufflers, X pipe and of course, EVOMSit software. Here are some pics, I'll follow up as we progress.

did you dyno the car before for a baseline?

i am really curious of the results of this 3.6 motor!

 

Is this the 3.6 or 3.8 engine? What are the expected HP gains? Thanks in advance.

 

This is the 3.8 DFI engine. Unfortunately we were a bit squeezed for time so we didn't get to do a before dyno but it looks like we might strap it down for an "after" run.

 

Looks good guys, it will have nice sportier tone now without being loud. The EVOMSit Tune is going to really wake it up with our stuff. Let us know the results when its done.

When can we see some hp/Tq numbers? Bizarre, you guys didn´t do a dyno before this way you wont know how many Hp gains or lost after the mods ...Just kidding. Anyway real world road test is what counts will stay tuned to this thread.

 

I certainly understand my friend but unfortunately dyno time aint free and most of our more "basic install" clientele pass on it. Like I mentioned earlier though, we might just strap it down to do an after pull to make sure we are where we need to be. I'll keep you posted.

 

Sorry, didn´t know it was a client car, thought it was a car from EVO to show what you can do to pump up the power on the DFI.

 

Ahh, I see. Nope, this is a customer car so dyno time was not something he opted for. Scheduled pick up is tomorrow so time is getting tight. Hopefully I will have the ECU tuned earlier today so we have time to get some numbers.

 

Well, we finally had a minute to spend on the dyno so here are the results. I know, I know, we should have done a pull before we installed any of the exhaust parts. As mentioned earlier in this thread, running this car on the dyno was not part of the original plan so unfortunately we don't have a true baseline to offer, just the results after the tune.

 

really nice work for both parties ( fabspeed and evoms ). Is there set up to bypass the side muffler and stay with the center like on GT3's?

 

Hey Cayenne ksa, yes we have bolt on side muffler bypass pipes for the car. Here is a sound clip of the Side Bypass pipes with our Air Intake system. Sounds loud and proud, but not too bad with the stock primary muffler. PM me if you have any questions.
