New (to me) 997.1 owner
Greetings all,
Been lurking on the forum for a while now. I recently picked up a 2006 C2S Cab with about 8,500 miles. It's my first Porsche, and I'm loving it so far! I should have picked one up a long time ago.
I did the vast majority of my research reading threads on this forum. So thanks!

Your car sounds great, very much like my first one I purchased 4 years ago. It is hard to beat the appeal of a black on black cab IMO. Hope to see you at C&C one of these Saturdays. If you see a C2S cab in midnight blue metallic, with Champion RG5B wheels, it is most likely me. Welcome aboard.

Right! Sorry for the lack of pics. At the moment I only have this one, which I took at the carwash on my iphone. I will post more though!
I actually went to Cars and Coffee last Saturday, but I got there at 8am and by then people seemed to be driving out. What is the best time to get there? The photo above was actually taken at the car wash between the Phillips dealership and the Tesla dealership after C&C last Sat.
I spent months looking for a 997.2. But the price point was above what I wanted to spend on a weekend car. So I started looking at 2006-2008 models and found this one listed online. It was in a hangar at Van Nuys airport in LA. The owner was older and ended up buying 2007 C2S Cab with Tip. He had purchased a 5 year warranty through Fidelity. The PPI checked out and the price was right, so I pulled the trigger! So far, so good!
