Buying a 997 carrera or carrera s
#31
I owned a 997.1S 06' initially, fantastic car and don't be worried about miles. Mine had about 38k when i bought it and all i had to do were oil changes, brakes were done, clutch was fine...just make sure the one you're looking at has been properly serviced other wise you may have a few more dollars to pay than you realize. On that note, I have a turbo now and it is quite a bit more comfortable on the road and highway. Enjoy and keep searching for yours!

Is there anything to prevent a dealer from offering or labeling a car CPO? I looked at a 2006 C2S, aero, manual, 26k miles...but after looking at the carfax it shows the car has had 7 previous owners? Priced at $48k it seems in the right realm, but it's certainly not a 1 owner car! The carfax did not show an major or scary service...but I know know the information on those can be less than reliable.

I know! That seems crazy unless there was something weird with titling between a company and individual. I'm going to at least ask about before I just write it off. I did drive it and it was AMAZING! As intoxicating as it was to drive, I have to take step back and weigh everything.
