SF Bay Area DE/Performance driving

I am looking for information for any performance driving course/event around the SF Bay Area. I live in the East Bay and ideally this can be an afternoon event with professional instructor. Porsche related will be great. (The ATL Porsche school will be great but having 2 young kids, it'd be hard to justify a trip there. )

TIA.

I'm in the EB as well. The local PCA's have regular events. Here's the link to the Golden Gate Chapter's site http://www.pca-ggr.org/

Try these folks, I have done several DEs with them.

They usually have instructors for novices and they keep the number of cars on the track reasonable so you can have a fun day.

They run at Thunderhill, Infineon and Laguna Seca.

Coastal Driving School.org PCA Loma Prieta/Monterey Region..Great track days @ Laguna Seca

Hooked On Driving (web search) top notch instruction and organization.

I agree with the other response regarding Trackmasters: I have run a dozen or so days with TM.

I just an LFA course at Infineon in Sonoma. Had a great time. Looks like they have open wheel, Audis, & Mitsubishis through the Jim Russell school.
