I had been using my video camera to record lap times and was bummed when it shut down prematurely and did not record my best sessions.

I found a free lap timer app for the iPhone. Seems to work just fine without the GPS add on module. There are some small ads but not too obtrusive.

It is called CMS Lap Timer. It should show up in a search of the app store.

Thought you guys might enjoy it.

I also purchased Dynolicious but did not find it useful.
