Stacy and Jack. Thanks for confirming the turbo offsets for a NB 997, what did/do you guys run on the rears fir tires? 295/25/19??? Again to avoid rubbing but have as aggressive if a look as possible. Thx!

Tire selection IS crucial....so be careful! I tried Nitto 305/25/20's and they were waaaaay too wide and stuck out of the fenders BUT the Pirelli 305/25/20 fit perfectly!

We compared a few different tires from different manufactures(same size) and Nitto and Hankook tires are an inch wider than Pirelli and Continental.
I always thought that a 305mm was 305 mm wide and THAT measurement should be the same width for all tires......go figure!

Excellent point Stacy. So would a 295 be recommended for the Nitto or Hankook?

To be honest.....I cannot remember for sure BUT 285 rings a bell.
When you buy tires, try and see if your local tire shop has a few manufactures so you can compare.....to confirm!
It was a seriously amazing to see how big of a difference it was.....

Here are pics/links from another thread.....to show the difference
Nitto(305/25/20)...really squared off tread and a bit too aggressive for me

Pirelli(305/25/20)....more rounded sidewall

Hey Jeff,

Because I was the proto-type to get theses wheels done....I did receive an amazing deal! So it is best to contact a sponsor from here on 6speed or email DPE directly to see what they can do........

At any price THESE wheels are well worth the wait and cost! In all my 27 years of building cars(and all types of wheels).....these are the best quality that I have ever seen......which is why I had two sets of DPE's!

Totally understand, I love those wheels... Been staring at your pictures for few days now. I just send them an email. How do you like the ride on the 20's? not too rough??? 20's look nice but I'm worrying about the rough ride.

Do you have stock suspension?

The ride,IMO,was actually better than the stock 19's......go figure! As far as suspension....I had JIC coil overs to achieve that low of a ride!
