997.2 C2S suspension issues?

Over the past week I've began hearing a creaking sound coming from my driver's side wheel. This happens only when I turn my steering wheel at a stop or low speed. Reminds me of walking over an old wooden floor.

I'm taking it in to Manhattan Porsche later this week, but my question is whether damage to the suspension from the wonderful NYC potholes would be covered under warranty? I have the Sport PASM with the LSD.

The car has also developed quite a few rattles (dashboard mainly). Should I just learn to live with it or does the dealership usually fix these things under warranty.

Car has 25k miles on it.

thanks

This varies, depends on whether they think it's because you hit something or because of a flaw. Depends on your relationship with dealer, etc..

Rattles should be fixed under warranty. However, dealers do get quite annoyed with people constantly coming in for very minor rattles. The best thing to do is to figure out exactly where the rattle is coming from and how to reproduce it, so you can do a ride-along with a dealer tech and clearly demonstrate the rattle. They really hate chasing down rattles that are hard to reproduce.

But yeah, the car should not rattle and warranty should cover it.
