black stoneguard on my C4S
MagnusB - I think just plain soap water!. Good Luck... I paid a total of about 80 bucks... which is not too bad as it included Part, Shipping & Handling and Labour.
I don't know if it shows on the pic but I had my rears spaced with 17mm spacers.... Looks awesome when up close.

I used the same lube that I use for my claybar when I detail. Make sure you get the area nice and wet before applying the new stone guard. Also have a squeegee (sp?) handy and TAKE YOUR TIME! Start from one corner and work your way up slowly working out air bubbles as you apply.
Good Luck! Just take your time and you'll be fine...

Was the old stone guard hard to take off? I may need to replace mine. Hopefully that's all that needs replacing.
Yesterday, I came out to my car after work to find the hazards flashing. Thought it a bit odd. The hazard lights went off when I hit the key fob. The car looked okay, but the lighting was a bit dim. This morning with more light I noticed a small ding right in the middle of the stone guard. It's barely noticeable and only in certain angles. That probably explains the flashing hazards. I'm hopeful the stone guard took the brunt of it and the paint underneath is okay.
