I am looking at buying a used 2011 C4S from Porsche dealer in California. This car was originally sold in Cali. I have been told that California cars have different parts due to emissions issues and that these parts if they need to be replaced/repaired can be difficult outside of Cali due to lack of these specific parts, etc.

This may all be false but I am not sure.

Bottom line is there any issue buying a car originally delivered to California?

 

PCNA sells the same car in all 50 states. No difference.

 

CA just has a higher standard.

but cars in CA all have emission warranty for 7 years or 70k miles...
which covers 95% of the engine
