Car wash question
Avoiding water spots is the best plan - if you let any of it air dry, you'll probably have them - if you do, vinegar and water solution works like a champ and is easy to do - almost no effort required and far less damaging (probably not damaging at all) than tyring to "polish" out the spots which probably won't work well anyway.
I have only had to do it once on the car after I rinsed it off while out of town and couldn't do a proper wash - my live and learn experience is that a bit of road grime is better to live with than a poor wash.
My 911 has never been to the car wash. I hand wash it every couple weeks. The paint is still perfect.
The novelty of spending a hours+ washing the car has worn off and I'm thinking of going the traditional car wash route. I plan to keep the car a very long time.
Bad idea?
