Man, that is awesome work guys. I was wondering what a Giac chip would do on top of the exhaust, I was hoping to see 360 rwhp. If an intake was added like the evo one the car would match the GT3's power with a bit more torque through the rev range.

Is this about it for making power with the carrera S? Are there any other gains to be had without forced induction?

Edit: Any difference in going with the 100 cell cats?

Here the dyno sheet of the GIAC chip in addition to our full system:




An intake may help on this car, but that is to be determined. Properly designed open filter elements have show improvements on about all of the watercooled Porsches, so the 997S should not be an exception.


Without getting into the internals of the engine, such as cams, there may not be any power easily gained. Again, we shall see.

100 cell cats showed barely measurable gain over the 300 cell cats, but we offer them for the die hard power junkies. Bear in mind that no 100 cell cat will keep the check engine light off for the long haul, and we can't guarantee that 100 cell cats will pass emission tailpipe/OBDII tests.
