I bought my 08 C2 Cab in the Perfect (Crappy) Economic Storm of the summer of 2009, just as the 997.2's were arriving on our shores. With plenty of '08's sitting around on dealer lots I was able to get about 25% off of sticker on a brand new car with 80 miles on the odo.
In considering summer 2012, I'm wondering if it's going to be the same type of scenario. Although Porsche has decreased US allotments, there seem to be plenty of '11 and '12 inventory (although 95% are black, gray, or white.) With the 991 on its way, and an economy headed toward a double dip, next summer could be a good time for us bottomfeeders.
