Battery maintainer
Which plug is used (cigarette or accessory) when using
a battery maintainer? What does the Porsche brand
maintainer recommend?

The accessory plug on the passenger side footwell is the recommended location. Get a CTEK charger. Same charger Porsche puts their logo on.

I use the cigarette lighter in the center console. Not problems here.

Actually not. The Porsche recommended outlet is the cigarette lighter plug (higher current circuit).
