I did it!

The Wait turns out to be much harder then I thought, I go to sleep picturing myself driving the car and I wake up thinking about it.
now I feel like going back to Toronto and driving her down by myself.
I just got informed the car won't be shipped until Monday.
Actually I have one more question:
When I test-drove the car i noticed the PCM flickers, first I thought its the engine but then I figured it does it even with the engine off. My salesperson couldn't confirm this. Then i checked out another PCM from another car which definitely didn't show the flicker. Ever since I have been away from the dealership he showed the car to 6 people and only 2 have noticed a "very slight" flickering, so they are saying it won't be fixed under warranty.
I could reverse the sale but I really don't want to loose this car. Just wondering if you guys think the Vancouver Dealership would do it under warranty? I find it pretty annoying.

Hard to say. As you didn't purchase the car through MCL or Speedway they may be inclined to say live with it. However, if they want to earn your future business they may fix it. If they won't touch it, make sure they document that there is a problem, so if something more severe occurs in the future you will already have it on record.

They pretty much said: There is no problem: A DME readout also has not found a problem. But hey its flickering and in my eyes pretty easy to tell.
I hope MCL will agree with me.

Did you check every electrical component ?

Not sure what you mean? you mean sunroof, lights, windows etc?
all that works! Also i had a ppi done before i bought the car and they have not found any electrical issues.

The screen on my 09 Cayman S would sometimes max out the contrast on it's own. It took a while but it finally happened at the dealership. They noted it and said they would bring it up with the regional rep as it would be a warranty item. After that it never happened again. So, in answer to your question I don't see why it wouldn't be a warranty item.

I'm sure with the cold dreary weather were experiencing here on the wet coast, that something like a flashing/pulsating screen will be easier to visualize then in the bright sunshine in the east. LOL
