I sold my 997 for an M3 sedan and now.......I'm looking to get back in the 997. Ironically I sold my E46 M3 for a 993 but we had another kid so I couldn't carry a newborn in the 993 and it was sold.

I know the summer months are typically higher prices, right? I should wait for the 991 (center console is horrible IMO) but I think the 997s are going to be 'keepers'. I'm not a patient man when it comes to cars but I'm sort of waiting.

 

A friend of mine buys high end cars in PA auction and also told me used cars in general went up and also told me the 997's went up in price in the past year or so.

 

Reports say used car prices will be up this year because very few MFG's did leases is 2008-2009. So, there will not be as many cars to choose from. Might be good if you are selling not so good if you are buying.
