Nice photos.... But I think my 997.2 Targa 4S is a better design overall.... The back looks like weird... ?

Mirrors are 993ish, me likey!

the tail lights of these test mules are covered with stickers which don`t reflect in the dark, so they had to put reflectors on but i think the final version goes without ´em. (i could be wrong tho )

No bumper-ettes either? I've heard a lot of stories where they saved the day from big $$$ repairs.

It's. . .interesting. It looks like the rear of the car, especially as the tail tapers down from the rear window, got more chiseled, sharper, and stronger, but the rest of the car got "softer." I am not questioning the tech, though, as I am sure it is top notch. I will have to see it in person before I can make an accurate judgement. Maybe the 991.2 will get me out of my 997.

Good point. Have done that myself in my own garage but never with any damage to the car because mirrors where not hung off the shell of the door.

The more that this car is uncovered, the more I like it...and the more it makes me love my GTS. While this has the distinctive 911 shape, it's beginning to look more generic. The 930, 964 & 993 have always been very distinct in their shape & I think the 997 is similar. The 996 looked too much like the Boxster so it lost it's 911 uniqueness. Time will tell with the 991, but my initial feeling is that there have been too many compromises due to safety regulations and design trends (any comment comparing the 991 to the Panamera design, ESPECIALLY the rear end, is not a good one).

Notice these 2 cars don't have the pano roof that all the other spy pics seemed to have. So I guess a no sunroof option will be available. I remember reading complaints that the new "targa" like sunroof would be a fixed feature, at least there are 2 mules out there without them.

These spy shots appear to be taken in europe which would explain the lack of bumperettes as well as the sunroof delete. I think European cars come that way now don't they?

I like it but again I feel it is overall too big for a 911. No longer small sport coupe but full GT.

Not digg'n the rear so much.

I don't see this as a cayman as someone suggested. Still a 911 for sure.
