Transmission compatability
no.
my mechanic told me once on such question that everything is possible, but overall you do not want gt3 motor on top of this japanese gearbox.
better way is to strip car and make track toy of it and keep burning down m96/m97 whatever motor you can find cheap. there are some tuning houses that can get m97 to almost 400 horses NA for racing applications. there are always some options but it all costs dearly.

To use a GT3 motor in a 997 C2 requires using a GT3 gearbox and rewiring the car for the GT3 ECU, among other things. It would be cheaper to buy a 996 GT3 or a retired 997 C2 Koni Challenge race car than to convert your car over.
